In St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, three Oak Streets, two Pine Streets and many other streets with identical names have caused plenty of trouble for years. Mail and pizza gets delivered to the wrong address. But more disturbing is when emergency response teams have difficulty locating their destinations. GPS technology tied to land-based telephone lines have reduced this problem but additional action is now being taken.
