I normally report on "geographic" maps, however, I came across a very interesting type of map related to websites - a heatmap that shows the cumulative visitor eye activity on a homepage. Police in Germany hid a GPS transmitter in the car of a suspected criminal to track his movement. The defense protested that such tracking was in violation of his person rights but a conviction was obtained. The case will now be heard by Germany's Constitutional Court.
